(Honours Research Project; Dimensions: 237x297mm.)     An exegetical research project exploring themes of identity, belonging, and resistance, with a focus on semiotics and omissions in graphic-novel storytelling. The project engages with existing research from diverse scholarly perspectives and fields, including semiology, comics studies, sociology, cultural studies, anthropology, and feminist and post-colonial studies.

These disciplines have provided me with distinct perspectives on the explored themes and concepts, enriching my critical analysis and understanding of how omission can be used semiotically as it evolves through both the writing and drawing of my exegesis and accompanying graphic novel, REDRAWN
