Title: “Party of Special Things to Do”, 2023.
(Student brief; dimensions: 14.8 x 21 cm, saddle stitch booklet/zine) A 16-page A5 comic/zine that is based on the song "Party of Special Things to Do" by 'Captain Beefheart' (Don van Vliet). The comic is hand-drawn, scanned, and coloured in digitally in full with a selective colour palette. I aimed to illustrate the comic to match the "wackiness" of the song by making it look more dream-like.
